Christine is a Washington-DC area based risk management consultant with ConstructionRisk, LLC providing contract reviews and other risk management services.

Her background includes work in both the private sector and as a federal prosecutor, focused on complex commercial litigation, white collar criminal investigations and litigation, economic sanctions, and various compliance and regulatory matters for both private and public companies. Prior to law school, Christine worked in the research department for a large commercial real estate firm, Cushman & Wakefield, analyzing data and trends in the Washington, DC commercial real estate market.

Christine’s pro bono work has mainly focused on children and families, including eviction and homelessness prevention, serving as a guardian at litem, and work as a volunteer staff attorney at the Children’s Law Center focused on health and housing-related legal issues and education law.

Christine holds a BA in Economics and in Government from Wesleyan University (1998) and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center (2003). While at Wesleyan, Christine served as the co-captain of the women’s varsity tennis team.

Christine’s publications include portions of the merits brief for the respondent in a Voting Rights Act case (Bartlett v. Strickland), before the Supreme Court (on a pro bono basis), contributions to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Enforcement chapter of Consumer Financial Services (ALM, 2009 ed.), contributions to “The Risks and Rewards of International Transactions Involving U.S. Assets and Funds — Consideration of the American Criminal Laws,” Europa Insitut, University of Zurich (2009), and co-authoring The Catch-22 of Model Rule 8.3, Geo. J. Legal Ethics, Summer 2002. Christine also writes for a forthcoming website on the history of the English language and law.
